Who We Are

Jardín Oculto makes wines from vines that were planted over 200 years ago in the Cinti Valley, Chuquisaca. Our aim is to celebrate the ancient vineyards of Bolivia, and the Criollo varieties that were first brought here by Spanish missionaries,

Collectively, we call these vineyards "Los Arbolitos". The vines are trained around the native Molle and Chañar trees, which support their growth. This is the natural habit for a vine, and something that is rarely seen in the modern day, adding another reason as to why the wines of Jardín Oculto are so special.
